History gives short shrift to the six ill-fated wives of Henry VIII. Their lives have been summed up by the old rhyme, “Divorced, beheaded, died. Divorced, beheaded, survived.” Now Six puts the wives in the spotlight as a girl band, giving them a chance to tell their stories through power ballads. 

The show, a musical-pop concert hybrid, features songs with what The New York Times praised as “catchy and meaty” tunes and “smart” lyrics.
