General

Each theatre dictates its group size, usually 10-20 tickets. Specific group minimums for each show can be found on the show page on our website.

After you place an order, OOB contacts the box office. The box office then informs us if the requested tickets are available, and when payment is due. We’ll invoice you the details, or contact you to discuss options if the performance is sold out or the price requested is unavailable.
You can search by category on our website, or just ask us. We see every Broadway show before it opens, and would love to help match your group with the right show.
Most shows offer student discounts, but many require a letter on school letterhead to approve student rates. Student discounts are rarely offered for holiday or Saturday evening shows.
Early bird tickets are special discounted rates for groups that book early. Not all shows offer early bird discounts, but those will be noted on the individual show page on our website.

Some shows offer complimentary tickets with a minimum purchase. Please email info@oobnyc.com with inquiries.

You’ll want to get to the show 15-30 minutes before curtain, as check-in can take time, and many theatres do not allow immediate seating for latecomers.
Tickets can be left at the Box Office in your name, or can be Fedexed anywhere in the U.S. for a $15 delivery fee.
Submitting your order does not obligate you to purchase tickets. Prior to payment, you may cancel your order without penalty, or reduce it (as long as the order continues to meet the group minimum).
We’re happy to coordinate group dining options for your party, or provide suggestions of places to accommodate groups of various sizes.

Changes / Cancellations

It is always wise to request the maximum amount of seats that you think you’ll need. You can reduce the number of tickets prior to payment without penalty, but it can be more difficult to add seats.
In the event of a closure/cancelation, we will contact you with details, assist in arranging tickets for a new show, and a refund.
If a show is canceled due to weather, we will assist you in arranging new tickets or a refund, if available.
Once a box office has accepted payment, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please let us know as soon as you become aware that you will be unable to attend your purchased shows, and we can discuss your options.

Payment

Payment policies are set by the box office, and vary depending on the show and performance date. Please note that the box office can cancel your order without notice if payment is not received on time.

We accept payment from a single credit card or single check. We cannot process one group order on multiple credit cards.

When the tickets are non-commissionable to us, there is a 10% service fee. We’ll always inform you when we charge a service fee, and quote you the inclusive price. Saturday evening and Holiday shows are often non-commissionable.

Accessibility Services

The following services are available at all theaters:

Most Broadway theaters do not have elevators or escalators. If someone in your group cannot easily use stairs, we suggest the orchestra section, as it tends to be on the ground floor.

You can visit www.theatreaccess.nyc for more information on ADA seating in Broadway theaters, as well as various other accessibility services for audience members.

Language Services

Many theaters also offer real-time translations in a variety of languages, to be viewed on your mobile device.

For information about accessibility options for a specific show, please contact us at info@oobnyc.com, or reach out directly to the theatre.

Workshops

Most workshops take place in rehearsal studios in the Broadway area. Workshops for larger groups may take place outside of the theatre district due to size restrictions, but will be located as conveniently as possible.
Workshops can be customized for all ages, but most of our workshops are appropriate for kids ages 10 and up.
Participants should dress comfortably, as most workshops are active. For dance workshops and classes, participants are encouraged to bring appropriate dance clothes and shoes.
Each workshop is private and designed specifically for your group based on your needs and preferences.
Workshops are a fun opportunity to explore and learn about the theatre, and can be enjoyed by all. Additionally, our workshops are custom designed for your group, and include those specifically for non-performers.
Let us know what you’d like to do, and little about your group (level of experience/ability, age range, and special requests of needs), and we can do the rest. Our teaching artists have a wide range of professional experience, from actors to technicians, and create a variety of unique experiences.
Workshop check-in can take a little time, as building security will generally need to check every into the rehearsal studio. You’ll want to allow extra time for security, and getting everyone into and out of the rehearsal studio.
