This British stage adaptation of 1984, George Orwell's classic novel about a totalitarian society, played throughout the U.K. to sold-out houses and rave reviews after opening in 2014. The production features a giant video wall from which Big Brother looks down on his party members to ensure that no one is committing "thought crimes."

Variety called the show "a sold-out hit" and "a gorgeously staged chiller."

The novel, originally published in 1949, is currently Amazon's best-selling fiction.
