The Great Society

Brian Cox captures Lyndon B Johnson from his epic triumph in a landslide election to the agonizing decision not to run for re-election just three years later. It was an historic era that included the deaths of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, the destruction of Vietnam and landmark civil rights legislation with LBJ at the center of it all.

Cox has appeared in such indy fare as L.I.E. and The 25th Hour, as well as such movies as Troy and The Bourne Supremacy. He has previously appeared on Bway in That Championship Season and Stoppard's Rock 'n' Roll. He's currently playing a Murdoch-like media mogul in HBO's Succession.

Bill Rauch, who helmed All the Way, directs the cast which includes Marc Kudisch as Richard J. Daley, Grantham Coleman as Martin Luther King, Jr., and Richard Thomas as Hubert Humphrey.
