Slava's Snow Show

This family holiday show features clowns and dramatic special effects. Each scene in the antics-filled production is enchanting and visually stunning. There's a shark swimming in a misty sea; heart-breaking goodbyes on a railway platform; a gigantic web that envelopes the entire audience; a wave of balloons that bounces off the audience's fingertips; and a finale consisting of a roaring blizzard that blankets the spectators in snow.

A New York Times review said "...if I were charged with the entertainment of children under 10...this would be the show I'd favor. It does does not stun children with spectacle but fires their imaginations...The 20-minute intermission is more like recess, with some of the performers clambering across the audience and leading the more aggressive kids in snow fights and other raillery, some involving sprays of water."

Created by Slava Polunin, a popular Russian clown, the show premiered in Moscow in 1993, has play on and off Broadway, and has been seen in 25 countries.
