Hillary and Clinton

Tony-and Emmy-winners John Lithgow and Lauie Metcalf return to Broadway to star in this new play by Lucas Hnath (A Doll's House, Part 2).

The play, which explores the politics of marriage and gender, takes place one evening in 2008 in Iowa. Hillary Rodham Clinton, her chief strategist Mark J. Penn and her husband, Bill Clinton butt heads over whether bringing in the former president will be a liability or an asset in Hillary's troubled campaign to secure the Democratic presidential nomination.

When the play was first staged in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune praised it as "an audacious, whip-smart, highly entertaining piece of writing."
