Three Tall Women

Glenda Jackson, the celebrated British actress and two-time Oscar winner (Women in Love, A Touch of Class), returns to Broadway to star in a revival of Edward Albee's Pulitzer-winning play. Also starring is Laurie Metcalf, Tony-nominated for her performance in "A Doll's House."

The play is based on the experiences of Albee's foster mother during three stages of her life and the troubled relationship between her and Albee.

Jackson, 81, who served as a Member of Parliament for more than 20 years, last appeared on Broadway as Lady Macbeth in 1988. Albee achieved fame in 1962 with "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and won two other Pulitzers for "A Delicate Balance" and "Seascape." Joe Mantello (Wicked) directs.
